家族性ミオパシーと骨ページェット病の特徴
研究者は、遺伝性封入体ミオパシー (IBM) および/または骨ページェット病 (PDB) および/または IBMPFD とも呼ばれる認知症 (FTD) を持つ家族を研究しています。 IBMPFD は、VCP 遺伝子の変異によって引き起こされます。 私たちの主な目標は、VCP 遺伝子の変化がどのようにしてこの疾患に関連する筋肉、骨、認知の問題を引き起こすかを理解することです。
研究者は、血液や尿のサンプル、家族歴や病歴、VCP 関連疾患の既往歴または家族歴を持つ患者のアンケート データなどの生物学的標本を収集しています。 参加資格を得るために、参加者は上記のすべての症状を持っている必要はありません。 選択された参加者グループは、MRI や骨スキャンなどのローカル手順の 2 日間のプログラムのために、カリフォルニア大学アーバイン校に旅行するよう招待される場合があります。
サンプルは、機密性を維持するためにコード化されています。 追加の検査に招待された家族を除いて、旅行は必要ありません。

包含基準:
- 包含基準には、筋肉や骨の病気を含む医学的問題の組み合わせを持つすべての個人とその家族が含まれます。 歴史的に VCP 関連の筋肉疾患は、以下の診断で誤って診断されてきたため、これらの患者が骨疾患の個人歴または家族歴を持っている場合、研究の対象と見なされます。
考慮される筋肉障害は次のとおりです。
- 肢帯筋ジストロフィー
- ミオパシー
- 封入体ミオパシー
- 変異のないFSH(顔面肩甲骨筋ジストロフィー)
- 肩甲骨筋ジストロフィー
- 筋萎縮性側索硬化症
- 非特異的筋ジストロフィー

以下を含む骨障害:
- 骨ページェット病
- 線維性異形成
- 悪性線維性組織球腫を伴う骨幹髄質狭窄症 (DMS-MFH)
- 非特異的骨疾患
適格な参加者は、次の条件を満たす必要があります。
- 被験者は18歳以上でなければなりません
- 被験者は同意を与えることができなければなりません
- 影響を受ける個人の18歳以上の成人の家族または配偶者

- 18歳未満。
