詳細な説明
水中出産の対象となる女性は、妊娠第 3 期の初め (妊娠 25 週 0 日から 34 週 0 日) に水中出産または陸上出産のいずれかに無作為化 (2:1) されます。
研究者は、労働と出産の予測不可能性のために、一部の女性が危険を冒したりオプトアウトしたりすることを認識しています.
目標は、登録された水中出産参加者の約 50% が水中出産することです。
さらに、研究者は、一部の女性が調査研究に参加したくないことを理解した上で、水中出産に適格な大多数の患者にアプローチすることを目指しています.
出生にはさまざまな性質があるため、女性がランダム化されていずれかのグループに登録されると、モデルを治療する意図が分析に使用されることに注意してください。
出産後、退院前に母体の満足度を評価するために、女性は有効なアンケートに記入するよう求められます。
その他のデータは、電子カルテまたは産後 4 ~ 8 週間で収集されます。

以下を含む出生前の低リスクで健康な成人女性(18歳以上):
- 英語を話し、理解できる
- 単胎妊娠の女性
- 移動制限なしで移動できる (つまり、座っている状態から立っている状態に移動するのに問題がない)
- 出生前ケアの開始時にクラスIII未満の肥満(BMI <40kg/m 2 )
- -HIV、B型肝炎、C型肝炎、HSVの発生などのアクティブな感染がない(予防は許容可能)、GBS陽性は許容可能
- -心臓病、制御されていない喘息、あらゆるタイプの糖尿病、慢性高血圧、または継続的な観察および/または活動制限を必要とするその他の状態などの既存の病状はありません
リスクの高い妊娠状態がない: 子癇前症、妊娠高血圧症、早産、多胎妊娠、薬物乱用、胎盤早期剥離またはその他の原因不明の膣出血、以前の帝王切開、巨人児の疑い (>4500gm) または子宮内発育制限 (<10パーセンタイル) 、または継続的な観察および/または活動制限を必要とするその他の状態
労働包摂基準:
- 37 週以上 42 週未満の頂点提示の妊娠
- 高血圧でも発熱でもない(4 時間間隔で 2 つの血圧 140/90、1 時間間隔で 2 回の 100.4 以上の発熱)
- カテゴリー 1 胎児心音 (20 分間の入院外部胎児モニター ストリップで取得)
- 羊膜嚢は無傷または破裂している可能性があります。 破裂した場合、羊水は透明でなければなりません。
除外基準:
女性は、上記の選択基準を満たさない場合、研究から除外されるか、以下の状況でさらに除外されます。

The median time of labor duration (1st stage onset of strong regular contractions resulting in cervical change, 2nd stage pushing and birth of the neonate, 3rd stage delivery of the placenta) of women in the waterbirth cohort will be compared to the land birth cohort.

United States Birth Satisfaction Scale-Revised (US-BSS-R) Score

The US-BSS-R is a 10 question scale using a 5 point Likert scale with answers ranging from "strongly agree" to "strongly disagree".
The overall US-BSS-R total birth satisfaction score ranging from 0-40 (least birth satisfaction - most birth satisfaction).
Women in the waterbirth cohort will be compared to those in the land birth cohort for overall US-BSS-R score.
