目的 1: 性的性的少数者 (SGM) の若者の間で電子タバコの普及に関連する顕著な信念と文化的好みを調査し、反電子タバコのソーシャル メディア メッセージの発展に情報を提供する。
アプローチ: SGM の若者 80 人を対象とした引き出し調査と、引き出し調査に回答した 48 ~ 64 人の若者のサブサンプル間でのフォーカス グループ ディスカッションにより、SGM の若者が最も顕著だと考える電子タバコの開始に関する信念を調査します。 参加者には、米国の SGM の若者、年齢 12 ~ 18 歳が含まれ、年齢別 (12 ~ 15 歳または 16 ~ 18 歳)、電子タバコのステータス (電子タバコを吸ったことがなく、影響を受けやすいか、過去 1 年間に電子タバコを始めたことがある)、性別自認 (シスジェンダー) によって階層化されています。またはトランスジェンダー/ジェンダー拡張)。 研究者らは、SGMの若者の間で電子タバコを吸う行動の社会的背景と、電子タバコ反対のメッセージの文化的調整(つまり、周辺的、証拠的、言語的、社会文化的価値観の調整)に対する嗜好をさらに調査する予定である。

カスタマイズされたアームの参加者は、SGM がカスタマイズした電子タバコ防止健康メッセージがテキスト メッセージで配信されます。
|
メッセージは、ソーシャル メディアの投稿に似せてデザインされた静的テキストと画像 (画像やキャプションなど) で構成される高品質な英語の電子タバコ防止メッセージの形式になります。
SGM に合わせたメッセージを構成するために、目標 2 でテストされた上位の調整機能と信念テーマに基づいて 24 個のメッセージを作成します。
調整されていないメッセージ条件の場合、SGM に調整されたメッセージを反映するが、SGM アイデンティティ キューは含まれない 24 個の反電子タバコ ソーシャル メディア メッセージを作成します。
私たちは、目的 1 と 2 で示されているように、さまざまな信念のターゲット (中毒、身体的健康への影響、精神的健康への影響など) を表すように、調整されたメッセージと調整されていないメッセージで使用される信念テーマを一致させます。ランダム化された条件での汚染の可能性を回避するためのメッセージ配信用のソーシャル メディア プラットフォーム。
