In return, we’ll help you build a career that you can feel passionate about. Job Summary We are seeking a Scientific Writer 1-Laboratory Sciences for our Safety Assessment site located Reno, Nevada.

The following are responsibilities related to the Scientific Writer 1-Laboratory Sciences:

Serves as a scientific/technical writer in the conduct of assigned nonclinical and clinical research studies of varying degree in complexity.  The primary responsibilities to include interpretation and reporting of study data and meeting the regulatory compliance for all studies, as applicable.  Proficiency in scientific report writing for one or more functional area of laboratory sciences.  

  Review and interpret study protocols and laboratory-based procedures for various regulatory guidelines. Interpret data for studies, effectively integrate supporting data, draw preliminary conclusions, and consistently prepare high quality reports. Ensure the report is following applicable regulatory guidelines. Assist with completion of scientific review comments, sponsor comments, and QA audits as well as address necessary corrections. Provide leadership and guidance and serve as a mentor to junior staff. Review/update/develop/maintain reporting templates in accordance with applicable Sponsor requirements. Contribute to the department reporting process in areas such as process improvement, SOP revisions, and software integrations. Understand and maintain study reporting milestones and timelines. Job Qualifications

The following are minimum qualifications related to this position: Education: Bachelor's degree (B.S./B.A.) or equivalent in a scientific related discipline. Related Master's degree (M.S./M.A.) or PhD/DVM preferred. Experience:  Minimum of 3+ years related experience in the contract research, academic, or pharmaceutical industry.
