Summary of Duties: Analyze financial data processing problems to implement and improvecomputer systems. Analyze user requirements, procedures, and problems to automate or improve existing systems and review computer system capabilities, workflow, and scheduling limitations. Administer the development, implementation, integration, and efficient processing of all financial, payroll, and procurement systems. Provide project management, consultation, analysis, testing, and implementation support for Finance projects, including upgrades and enhancements. Provide consultative and technical support of the Lawson ERP system, interfaces, and integrations with other financial applications. Define requirements and act as a liaison between the end-users (customers) and the Corporate Systems Development (CSD) department to resolve technical issues and design new features and application solutions. Generate queries, develop reports, ensure data integrity, perform systems maintenance, and provide routine audits. Evaluate, recommend, plan, test and implement improvements, enhancements, and upgrades to the Lawson suite and other Finance systems, including TimeSite, ExpenSite, and MHC; and interface to other internal and external systems. Manage projects within the Finance Information Systems. Oversee the Finance Information Systems, ensuring proper use and training, new acquisition management, technical oversight, and efficient processing of finance data. Perform maintenance to include security, configuration, and routine auditing. Develop queries, provide data feeds and various reports. Identify areas for improvement in use of system and reporting opportunities. Research, track, and write custom report requests for all locations. Request range from simple queries created by the analyst to complex reports often requiring functional specifications and the coordination of efforts with the Corporate Systems Development. Maintain 'master data' (G2 items) governed by the Lawson Global Steering Committee and requested by end users of the Lawson suite. Serve as liaison with IT staff and external vendors to develop and implement applications and analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve programming or systems related problems. Determine methods and procedures on new assignments.
