- 펜실베이니아 병원(PAH) 또는 펜실베이니아 대학 병원(HUP)에서 간질 및/또는 신경정신과 질환 치료를 위한 표준 임상 치료의 일부 또는 진행 중인 연구 참여로 두개내 전극 삽입 수술을 받았거나(받을 예정인) 환자.
- 21세에서 75세 사이의 성인 환자
- 연구 책임자(PI)의 판단에 따라 안정적인 의학적 상태로 간주되는 환자
- 연구 책임자(PI)의 판단에 따라 영어로 된 지시사항을 이해할 수 있다고 판단되는 환자
- 연구 책임자(PI)의 판단에 따라 동의서를 제공하고 모든 연구 요구사항을 완전히 준수할 수 있는 환자
제외 기준:
- 만성 알코올 남용 병력이 있는 환자
- 동맥류 클립, 두개골 판 또는 메쉬와 같은 추가 이식 장치를 보유하고 있어 초음파 빔 경로와 교차할 수 있는 환자
- 초음파 변환기 안전 배치를 방해하는 두피 열상, 감염 또는 피부 질환
- 의도된 빔 경로 근처에서 유의미한 종괴 효과를 동반하는 두개내 종괴 병변
- 선별 당시 임신 중인 환자 또는 연구 과정 중 임신하게 되는 환자
- 연구 책임자(PI)의 판단에 따라 참여자의 모든 연구 요구사항 완전 준수 능력을 감소시키거나 방해할 수 있거나, 연구 데이터 또는 결과의 무결성에 영향을 미치거나, 훼손하거나, 변경시킬 수 있는 과거 또는 현재의 의학적 상태, 질병, 장애 또는 손상이 있는 환자
