포함 기준:
Brenner Families in Training(FIT)에 등록했거나 등록할 자격이 있는 13~18세의 비만 청소년. 간병인은 청소년 참가자와 함께 집에서 생활해야 합니다. 비만은 BMI(35.9 +/- 8.6)로 정의됩니다. 참가자는 또한 스마트폰 또는 태블릿에 액세스할 수 있어야 합니다.
제외 기준:
13세 미만의 청소년은 제외됩니다. 참가자가 스마트폰이나 태블릿에 액세스할 수 없는 경우 참가할 수 없습니다.

활성 비교기: Brenner FIT(표준 치료)
청소년은 간병인과 함께 Brenner Families in Training에 참여하게 됩니다.
그들은 표준 Brenner FIT 치료의 모든 구성 요소를 받게 됩니다.

가족들은 오리엔테이션에 참석한 후 초기 입문 그룹 세션 및 요리 수업을 위한 2시간 일정을 잡습니다. 이는 오리엔테이션 후 2-4주 이내에 발생합니다.
6개월 동안 영양사, 상담사, PA 전문가의 월 1시간 방문이 진행되며, 이 기간 동안 아이와 보호자는 소아과 의사를 만나게 됩니다.
치료 6개월 동안 식사 계획, PA, 육아 등의 주제를 선택하여 4개의 그룹 수업에 참석합니다.
관련 문제가 발생하면 PA 전문가 또는 영양사와의 전문 방문이 예정되어 있습니다.
가족과 함께 사용하기 위해 Brenner FIT에 의해 수정된 동기 부여 인터뷰는 치료의 핵심입니다. 가족 상담사는 인지 행동 치료, 양육 지원/마음 챙김에 대한 교육을 받았으며 이러한 접근 방식을 사용하여 가족이 건강한 습관을 개발하도록 돕습니다.

BMI z-점수는 CDC 성장 차트를 사용하여 계산되며 2~19세 어린이 및 청소년의 CDC 성장 차트를 기반으로 한 연령별 BMI 백분위수로 변환됩니다.
