University Internship: Medical Laboratory Science Lab Assistant Intern

<p><span style="font-size: 10.0pt;"><strong>Exciting Opportunity to be part of the Labcorp 2022 Global Internship 12 Week Program as a Medical Laboratory Science Lab Assistant Intern in Phoenix, AZ!</strong></span></p> <p>Lab Assistant Intern will have the opportunity to rotate through Pre-analytical Departments (Accessioning, Referrals, Specimen Management) and Technical Departments (Hematology, Chemistry, Serology, Anatomic Pathology). Lab Assistant will responsible for helping technicians in the various assigned benches. He/she will learn analytical instruments, pulling the pending specimens, preparing the specimens, simple instrument maintenances , good documentation practices, discarding specimens and work with team members to complete the benches in timely manner. Position will also allow the opportunity to shadow Medical Technologists, Cytotechnologists and Histotechnologists. This position is entry level position and needs a high school diploma</p>
