Job Summary
We are seeking a Veterinary Technician 2 for ourInsourcing Solutions site in Durham, NC.

In the Veterinary Technician 2 role, you can do that by maintaining the health and well-being of all the animals on-site, which directly contributes towards the integrity of the research.
What you will do?
You will perform surgical and veterinary assistance procedures on laboratory research animals under the direction of the facility veterinarian. In addition provides veterinary support and care including emergency and preventive care.
Who are we looking for?
Candidate will possess a High school diploma or General Education Degree (G.E.D.) required. Associate's degree (A.A./A.S.) in AVMA accredited veterinary technology program or equivalent college level program is preferred .
Required: Registered or Certified Veterinary Technician
Candidate will have five years’ experience in laboratory animal care with at least two years of technical experience with surgical procedures and practices (large animal preferred)
The pay this position is $39.06 USD per hour.
