We are thrilled to announce a great opportunity for a passionate Junior Data Engineer to join our dynamic Digital & Analytics team! 

Our team is responsible for the digital transformation journey of a manufacturing site specialized in the production of injectable medicines.

As a Junior Data Engineer, you will have the chance to work closely and gain experience together with a team of accomplished professionals, including a Senior Manager, Senior Data Engineer and Senior Data Scientist.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the team to design, build, and maintain Business Intelligence solutions.
  • Contribute and support the development of data models and databases.
  • Support internal customers with data analysis and data visualization efforts.
  • Find opportunities for improving data quality and reliability in close collaboration with the team
  • Contribute to operational tasks as required to support the team

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • Previous experience in the field of Business Intelligence and Data Analysis
  • Good Knowledge of topics such as data modeling, ETL, data warehousing and Data Visualization
  • Good Knowledge of databases such as SQL Server and Oracle.
  • Knowledge of reporting tools such as PowerBI.
  • Knowledge of algorithms and programming languages such as Python is considered a plus.
  • Strong communication skills in English.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment.
  • Strong analytical skills, passion for numbers and performance

Desidered skills:

  • Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure
  • Knowledge or background in IIoT or industrial automation is considered a plus
