Job Summary

The pay range for this position is  $17.00 per hour. Please note that salaries vary within the range based on factors including, but not limited to, experience, skills, education, certifications, and location.

We are seeking a summer Intern, Scientific Resources for our Safety Assessment site located in Reno, NV.

The Intern will be working alongside Study Directors and Research Scientists with their various data points. The individual will be reviewing data and conducting data analysis, reviewing scientific materials in preparation for presentations. The Intern will also have opportunities in working alongside Scientific Coordinators understanding and learning the Scientific Resources operations at our Reno facility.

The internship would be approximately from mid/late-May through mid-August, summer 2024. This individual would be working majority day shift hours, from 8:00am to 5:00pm, Monday through Friday.

The following are minimum requirements related to the Intern, Scientific Resources position.

  • Junior or Senior standing in higher education.
  • In undergraduate studies in Biology, Biochemistry, Biomedical, etc.
  • Familiarity with Excel and/or Access a plus.
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted as a satisfactory substitute for the specific education and experience listed above.

Job Qualifications

The following are minimum requirements related to the Intern position:

  • Availability to work full-time (40 hours), day shift Monday through Friday; 3 month Temporary role
  • High school diploma or General Education Degree (G.E.D.)
  • 0-6 months related experience
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted as a satisfactory substitute for the specific education and experience listed above
  • Ability to organize, prioritize work and meet deadlines. Must be detail oriented.
