This dynamic Sr. Financial Analyst will be a key role in driving forward the growth and profitability of CGAT (Cell, Gene, and Advanced Therapies) organization – directly partnering CGAT VPGM. This role is a key partner in providing robust financial supports including forecasting / reporting, revenue analytics, deeper funnel analysis to drive commercial actions in CGAT cross divisional (BID, BCD, PPA, and LPE) spaces.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead business partner relationship with CGAT organization and its operating expense planning and budgeting.
  • Support CGAT revenue consolidation and monthly forecasting by collaborating with cross divisional teams.
  • Drive financial supports for better funnel / sales data management process for CGAT team to take actions to grow revenue.
  • Prepare bottom-up modeling and tracking tools for operating expense and perform scenario planning to transform targets to actions.
  • Effectively consolidate cross divisional financial planning (STRAP, AOP, QBR/MBR) into CGAT - a matrixed organization.
  • Liaise with CB BU CGT segment and Commercial team to streamline both teams’ role and responsibility and the alignments.
  • Be the liaison among multiple division / sites team members to improve the clarity of revenue, booking, sales funnels for CGAT.
  • Demonstrate FP&A role model leadership with timely, accurate, and valuable information.
  • Embrace continuous improvement approach passionate about automation, operational improvement, and elevating business partnership.
  • Cultivate relationship with the Division FP&A and Systems team to drive reporting integrity and accuracy.

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance (CPA and/or MBA preferred)
  • 5+ years of professional experience in FP&A within a large, multi-national company
  • Full comprehension of financial documents and how to use them to analyze a business
  • Hyperion Enterprise and ERP system (e.g. SAP, HFM) experience strongly preferred; Power user of Excel, proficient in MS Office Word, PowerPoint and Power BI.
  • Demonstrated experience in a complex, multinational, heavily matrixed organization and confidence to interact with all levels of the organization
  • Strong leadership, problem solving, and team-oriented with collaborative style
  • Strong written and verbal communication and the ability to interpret and summarize financial analysis results in a clear, concise, and accurate manner
  • Strong business partner with critical thinking and data-driven analytical skills
  • Desire to formulate and drive improvements in execution, with confidence to challenge current processes

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range estimated for this position based in California is $103,100.00–$171,900.00.
