Principal Clinical Data Science Lead

Key responsibilities:

• Expert oversight knowledge of clinical data management/clinical data science and data review activities.

Business Expertise:•Advanced understanding of protocol content and interpretation of critical data and data review requirements• Ability to react and adapt requirements, processes and timelines in an agile manner•Tracks and keeps functional management and those responsible for project management informed of any issues that might affect project target dates, scope or budget and escalates potential problems effectively and in a timely manner.•Works independently and with other project leads, as needed, to negotiate timelines and key deliverables with clients and/or external customers and departments.•Understand project level revenue recognition/forecasting process and provides input regarding actual and forecasts units/hrs (revenue and resources) to the CDS PM.• Other responsibilities may be assigned as required• Travel (approximately 15%) domestic and/or internationalLeadership:Functional Team Lead and primary point of contact for internal and external project team for CDS.• Typically 8+ years of experience. An equivalent combination of education, training and relevant experience may be considered in place of the education and experience stated.•Strong leadership and project management skills.• Established Mentor and/or SMEProblem Solving:• Problems are not defined and sufficient information to define problems may not be available. Limited precedence or guidance may not be available. Undertakes analysis and investigation to identify and define problems. Anticipates future issues.Impact:• Establishes approach and leads resources to achieve operational and strategic plans. Impact is based on medium-term and long-term goals. Work is done independently but reviewed at critical points.Interpersonal Skills:•Adapt style and use persuasion in delivering messages. presents and defends analysis and secure approval on complex matters.
