Location/Division Specific Information

This role has global responsibility for cybersecurity integrations and automation within the Corporate Infrastructure & Security (CIS) team.

This position plays a key role in crafting and maintaining custom applications and systems to protect, detect and respond to security threats on-premise and in our multi-cloud environment.

A day in the Life:
  • Write, test, and deliver high quality software and documentation (primarily in Python)
  • Work directly with cybersecurity teams to capture requirements and deliver innovative solutions
  • Identify and prioritize technical risks, impediments and dependencies on the product backlog
  • Integrate enterprise grade security products, services and data
  • Define, design and document reference architectures
  • Maintain and improve existing software solutions
  • Share and align architectural vision
  • Mentor junior engineers

Keys to Success:

Education
  • Bachelor's Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Systems

Experience
  • 7+ years of software development using a modern programming language such as Python, Java or JavaScript in an Agile environment
  • Hands on experience with microservices and event driven architecture
  • Experience interacting with software endpoints using HTTP, REST, SOAP, or similar
  • Cloud and container architecture and services
  • Front-end and/or data visualization experience is a plus

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
  • Proven track record developing and debugging software
  • Solid grasp of software version control and release management
  • Demonstrated understanding of compute, network and storage infrastructure components
  • Familiarity with databases (Postgres, MySQL, MS SQL) and SQL language
  • Object Oriented design
  • Leadership, decisiveness, and ability to influence your partners to build and deploy software changes
  • Attention to detail and interpersonal skills
