Location/Division Specific Information

Discover Impactful Work: The Instructional Design and Training Specialist will play a pivotal role in driving instructional design and training curriculum development initiatives within the Corporate Infrastructure & Security (CIS) organization. Reporting to the Director of Strategy & Colleague Enablement (SCE)), this position is responsible for conceptualizing, crafting and implementing strategic education and training programs sought at encouraging a culture of technology and security awareness across our diverse, global workforce.A Day in the Life
  • Develop and implement comprehensive instructional strategies and training curricula tailored to address the technology and security needs of the organization. This includes crafting a variety of learning materials such as panels, interactive exercises, multimedia presentations, video and web-based courses, etc.
  • Collaborate with key customers to ensure the delivery of role-based and multi-language training initiatives, conducting learning assessments, defining learning platform requirements, testing materials, establishing reporting mechanisms and facilitating the logistical rollout of training programs.
  • Establish and supervise key performance metrics to evaluate the efficiency of informative and training initiatives and communicate successes and areas for improvement to customers.
  • Align training programs with CIS objectives, regional and country-specific requirements, security and technology awareness strategy, emerging industry cybersecurity threats and technological advancements.
  • Continuously improve internal training and awareness processes to optimize efficiency, and actively seek opportunities to streamline cross-functional processes.
  • Provide project management support for key awareness programs and initiatives, ensuring ongoing education and training to reinforce a digitally enabled workforce.
  • Translate sophisticated technical concepts into easily understandable content tailored for non-technical audiences.
  • Collaborate closely with customers, Strategy & Colleague Enablement team members, instructional designers and other cross-functional business professionals on both large- and small-scale projects.

Education

  • BA/BS in Instructional Design, Education, Communications or related field. Equivalent work experience is accepted.

Experience, Skills & Abilities

  • A minimum of 3 years experience in instructional design, curriculum development, and training program management.
  • Strong understanding of instructional design principles, adult learning theory, and instructional technologies.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills with the ability to lead multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work across complementary teams and customers.
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity principles and technologies preferred.
  • Experience working in a global, multicultural environment is helpful.
