Syneos Health is seeking an experienced, motivated Project Manager to join their close knit, hardworking team. This candidate should have a minimum of 5 years’ agency experience (PR or Advertising) working with both digital and print projects. Our work is specific to healthcare communications so experience in this field is preferred. This candidate should have a good eye for design, a creative mind, and a desire to be strategic vs. executional as well as a head for business. Being proactive vs. reactive on this team is critical.
Our ideal candidate will support Engagement Managers who are aligned to our Public Relations and Medical Communications business units. They will be the bridge between the Engagement Manger and the Agency account teams. This candidate must be an excellent communicator both in written and verbal communications. Project Management in our studio includes having a head for business since they will be responsible for seeing projects through to completion on time and on budget.
Our Project Managers need to be resourceful, and collaborative given how intense and quick the creative process can be. 

You will:  

  • Employs a proactive approach to learning and quickly implements learnings into the next project.
  • Demonstrates solid partnership with other departments or Syneos teams to produce great work as well as understands the roles of various functional areas.
  • Helps facilitate a strong cohesive project team that is focused on priorities and is knowledgeable about our clients.
  • Possess an understanding of project execution across the full range of Studio offerings, including creative development (concepting, design, creative extensions, copy, presentation services, etc), technology (development and QA), and all forms of video production (video editing, CGI, Motion Graphics, etc).
  • Proactively leads budget management and is responsible for financial health of all assigned projects. Manages the billing process including billing worksheet reviews, communicating to manager regarding forecasting needs, and reviewing weekly hours report.
  • Understands and documents the specifications for all jobs, flagging changes in specs that affect estimates and re-estimating jobs as necessary before project is over budget.
  • Orients new jobs, schedules kickoff meetings, develops estimates, generates tasks in project management system, and creates timelines for each project.
  • Works collaboratively with discipline leads and resource managers to appropriately resource projects and ensure talent-to-task solves are aligned with each project.
  • Identifies and works to resolve conflict and risks; celebrates successes.
  • Displays excellent problem-solving skills and consistently works to be part of the solution.
  • Confident making quick decisions and works well under pressure.

Essential Requirements:

  • BA, BS, or related degree
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant project management experience leading multiple projects
  • Agency experience
  • Team management experience
  • Print production experience or equivalent marketing/advertising/PR cross-channel experience
  • Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite

Desired Requirements:

    • Proficiency working in Wrike
    • General understanding of design programs is helpful
