Job Summary

Digital Marketing Manager, Manufacturing is responsible for the co-creation and effective translation of marketing strategies into digital marketing campaigns to build awareness, generate and nurture leads and help with customer retention for Microbial Solutions, Biologics Testing Solutions and Cell and Gene CDMO. The role plays an integral part in the demand funnel, working closely with Strategic Marketing to create a digital communications plan based on the marketing strategy. Responsibilities of the role include the development, effective execution and management of integrated digital campaigns and messaging for relevant products and services, control of associated budget to increase brand awareness, generate and nurture leads, drive ecommerce revenue, measure impact and support current and future client relationships.

Responsibilities:

  • Define and establish a global comprehensive digital marketing strategy for the manufacturing support division (Microbial Solutions, Biologics and CDMO) with direction and partnership  with strategic marketing leads, including development, execution, deployment, and content ecosystem management. Manage and measure the effectiveness of a coherent communication strategy across all digital channels, to drive awareness, develop/nurture leads, ecommerce revenue and support the promotion of integrated offerings with other business units where appropriate.
  • Develop and implement short-and long-term digital campaigns that support BU marketing plans and input into budget planning. Track spend for current calendar year, measure effectiveness of planned activities against business objectives and provide recommendations for next year’s plan. 
  • Set KPIs for digital marketing campaigns, monitor performance and pivot to maximize impact and increase ROI. Provide ongoing reports on impact and funnel metrics to the strategic marketing team, manage inputs to dashboards, and present findings. Iteratively test digital initiatives to identify what works best and recommend/implement data driven improvements. Through close collaboration ensure digital marketing deliverables meet with and align with stakeholder and business objectives
  • Apply strong analytical ability to evaluate end-to-end customer experience across multiple channels, teams and customer touch points
  • Manages and continuously elevate  digital marketing campaign workflows and intake processes with our marketing team members and vendors
  • Educate and influence non-digital partners on new data sources, digital marketing capabilities and technologies and how to best use them in their go to market strategies
  • Plan, execute, manage, and drive the adoption of digital technologies across multiple digital marketing channels (SEO, SEM, Display, Retargeting, Social, Marketing Automation).
  • Maintain consistent brand messaging across all digital channels. 

Job Qualifications

Keys to Success:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • Previous experience managing a small digital- or marketing-focused team
  • 5+ years’ experience building and driving multi-channel B2B digital marketing strategy
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills; experience in dealing with multiple and diverse internal collaborators, and interacting with business and technology partners across all organizational levels

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

  • Channel experience within paid and organic social, marketing automation, display advertising, retargeting, pay-per-click advertising, and third-party database advertising.
  • Experience creating and building consensus for go-to market plans using digital channels
  • Strong data analysis and critical thinking skills and can visualize metrics to clearly communicate key insights. Solid knowledge of Google Analytics essential.
  • Strong understanding of how online customer journeys interact with the sales process and an understanding of how leads and opportunities are optimally tracked and measured through a sales pipeline
  • Strong project management and organizational abilities
  • Ability to prioritize workload effectively as well as identify and resolve problems by completing tasks with a strong attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills to facilitate working in cross-functional teams and with collaborators and agencies to deliver the best results 
  • People management experience 

Nice to have:

  • Hands-on experience of Pardot marketing automation and SalesForce CRM or equivalent platforms  
  • Able to control budgets and familiar with digital marketing financial planning and strategy

Compensation Data

The pay range for this position is $90,000 - $107,000K USD annually. Please note that salaries vary within the range based on factors including, but not limited to, experience, skills, education, certifications, and location.
