The PMO Project Associate supports the ICON Biotech (IBT) service area by contributing to the delivery of projects and initiatives to meet business needs. The Project Associate develops skills by working closely with other members of the PMO, and other internal clients as-needed for successful task execution.

Responsibilities:

  • Works with colleagues in Project Delivery and other departments on delegated tasks to support delivery of projects and business initiatives
  • Delivers assigned tasks to time and quality
  • Identifies risks with assigned tasks and effectively executes strategies to minimize and create contingencies for those risks.
  • Communicates efficiently and effectively within /outside PMO team, with staff of varying levels
  • Contributes to process improvements
  • Helps to drive process compliance and delivery of quality, through accurate and timely delivery of delegated activities
  • Participates in the generation of quality compliance metrics
  • Performs administrative tasks related to sponsor audits and inspections, as required

What do you need to have? 

  • Associate degree or international equivalent in business, finance, health sciences or related field, preferred
  • Undergraduate degree or its international equivalent in Finance, Business Administration, Health Sciences or a related field, strongly preferred
  • Fluency in English both orally and in writing with excellent communication skills
  • Experience in clinical project administration or other relevant experience, preferred
  • CRO, pharmaceutical or clinical research experience, preferred
  • Experience in managing multiple, varied tasks simultaneously and independently
  • Good attention to detail
  • Previous experience using computerized information systems and standard application software (Windows, MS Office)
  • High working knowledge with Word, PowerPoint and Excel, preferred
