Job Summary

The CRL IT organization is looking for an innovative, adaptable, and results-oriented Senior IT SAP Security Specialist.  As the SAP Security specialist, you’ll be responsible for the design and build of security authorizations, ensuring compliance to security policies and procedures, resolving access problems and handling security requests, incidents, and changes. Applications supported will include SAP ECC, SAP S4, Fiori, Solution Manager and GRC.

This is a cross-functional support role that will interface with other IT and Business stakeholders such as internal controls and audit to provide technical support and guidance related to SAP security and controls.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:   •    Administer SAP Applications security including user creation and role provisioning and deprovisioning  •    Responsible for supporting and configuring GRC Administration included access control, segregation of duties and elevated access •    Partner with Internal Audit and Controls to ensure adherence to IT controls and proper separation of duties  •    Build and design access roles for various SAP applications •    Define role strategy related to personas, composite roles and derived roles •    Evaluate role changes and design principals related to moving from SAP ECC to S4  •    Design GRC ruleset and mitigating controls for IT area

Job Qualifications

  • Education:  Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related technical field with 7+ years of analyst
  • Experience:  
    • 5 + years working experience in SAP Security administration
    • Experience with SAP Security administrative & support in several SAP technologies (example: S/4 HANA, HANA, ECC, Solution Manager, Enterprise Portal)
    • Experience with configuration of SAP GRC including Access Control, Process Control, and Elevated Access Control 
    • Setting up Mitigation controls and monitor the usage of mitigation controls
    • Experience with SAP's role-based security concepts including the ability to assess business role requirements, design authorization roles, and manage authorizations
    • Prior experience with SAP Go Live (planning, implementation, monitoring and troubleshooting) in line with SAP Security best practices
  • Other:  
    • Strong interpersonal skills including influencing & aligning 
    • Have proven emotional intelligence (EQ) and relationship building skills
    • Experience working in an Agile/ product and platform centric operating model
    • Ability to work with limited supervision and exhibit a strong sense of urgency
    • Focus on compliance and ability to support audit inquiries 
    • Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with all levels of the organization, both written/ verbal and 
    • Ability to work well in a team environment, to collaborate with others, and interface with team members internal and external to the organization
    • Establishes and maintains effective professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders
    • Self-motivated, well-organized, and detail oriented and ability to work with customers to elicit complex requirements and translate them into manageable and implementable work units

Compensation Data

The pay range for this position is $120,000 - $140,000 USD. Please note that salaries vary within the range based on factors including, but not limited to, experience, skills, education, certifications, and location.
