The Director, Product Management is a key member of the FIRECREST Senior Leadership team and is responsible for developing and driving the strategic product roadmap for FIRECREST within ICON. Reporting to the VP Firecrest, and working collaboratively across the FIRECREST and broader ICON teams, the Director, Product Management ensures that FIRECREST is strategically positioned in the marketplace so that FIRECREST sales and business goals with customers can be achieved.

This is a senior role in a fast growing part of the business. The ideal candidate will have a depth of experience in developing and successfully delivering digital product roadmaps, in particular in a Clinical Trials, Pharmaceutical or Digital Health environment.

Role & Responsibilities:

* Minimum 10 years' experience in Product Management, ideally involving digital and clinical research or pharmaceutical technology solutions

* Knowledge of the clinical trial solutions landscape including emerging areas e.g. Decentralised Trials

* Experience managing a team of business Product Managers

* Experience driving a product portfolio and managing a pipeline of new opportunities from Ideation to Launch

* Advanced presentation skills geared towards persuasion and compelling vision of future state processes & solutions

* Advanced market research, business case development, analytical, problem solving and troubleshooting skills

* Excellent cross-departmental communication & collaboration/influencing skills

* Energetic individual, eager to manage multiple activities and priorities. Dedication to quality in all work tasks and deliverables. Passion for customer service.

* Ability to travel (approximately 20%) domestic and/or international.

* Demonstrable experience of stakeholder/relationship management with a client focused approach to work. Able to understand the business implications of decisions and impact on customer.

* Ability to work in a matrix environment and to value the importance of teamwork.

* Ability to set ambitious and realistic targets, drive execution and build culture of continuous improvement and accountability.

Qualifications/Experience:

Experience of Digital Product Development methodologies and SaaS business models

Understanding of Artificial Intelligence and the transformative role it play

MBA a plus
