Project Manager & Senior Consultant - Healthcare Pathway Transformation

Purpose

To deliver Pathway Transformation projects, either in combination with Pathway Analytics or as stand-alone projects, within healthcare settings or directly for Pharma clients, for the ultimate benefit of patients, health economies and Pharma clients. To ensure the work is fully scoped, delivered to time, quality and budget in line with requirements of the IQVIA Engagement Manager and/or Pathway Transformation Director. Ensure that all project work is completed in accordance with relevant SOPs, policies and practices.

Responsibilities

  • Develop positive working relationships with designated healthcare organisations – typically a local NHS secondary care team (the Customer) and with the Sponsoring Pharma company (the Client), ensuring that you always uphold the highest standards of professionalism on behalf of IQVIA and the Pharma client
  • Develop project plans as appropriate and ensure stakeholder endorsement of plans
  • Ensure that work is conducted in compliance with standard processes, policies, and procedures and meets project timeline metrics
  • Drive the efforts of cross-functional project teams and project resources both within IQVIA and across the healthcare organization
  • Meet via TEAMS or face to face (as appropriate) with key stakeholders regularly to monitor progress against plan, risks, issues and to track decisions made. Actively lead on a problem-solving culture within the project team
  • Ensure contractual requirements are met and days delivered per project are recorded accurately
  • Manage use of project resources, particularly project management time input in accordance with client instructions
  • Produce and distribute reports and presentation materials, ensuring internal quality review is achieved before external release
  • Support proposal development and pitch presentations as required
  • Partner with other members of the Pathway Transformation team to develop and implement process improvements, including participating in weekly Pathway Transformation Team meetings

Minimum required education and experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or above, and 5 years of related experience
  • Robust and proven project management skills with demonstrated success bringing complex, cross-functional projects to completion
  • Prince2 foundation level or equivalent
  • Lean six sigma yellow belt or equivalent
  • Strong demonstrable experience engaging with UK hospital stakeholders within the NHS
  • ABPI Code of Practice exam or in-depth knowledge of the Code
  • Strong communication skills
  • Analytically-minded; ability to translate challenges to implications and potential solutions
  • Experience developing and maintaining external relationships
  • Experience in working within a matrix structure and Cross-functional teams
  • Positive can-do attitude and good team player
