Performs the following tasks with a focus on the Screening department: Supervises Research Technicians, and administrative support staff including accountability for attendance & performance andto ensure successful operations in the Early Development Clinic. Prepares weekly schedules and task assignments to meet the operation needs of the clinic Acts as liaison between the Technical Operations department and all other relevant clinic departments for purposes of study planning & forecasting, operational strategies, and staff efficiency. Facilitates quality procedure conduct for screening, in-house and outpatient studies. Responsible for direct supervision of all 40-65 per-diem technicians. This position will be in control of hiring, termination, raises, evaluations, and weekly availability of technicians. Assures the coverage of procedures due to cancellations, overlaps, etc. L ea ds a n d dire c ts de pa rt me n ta l sta f f mee tin gs; attends clinic meetings as a representative of Tech Ops and Screening.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Experience performing Phase I technical procedures (i.e. phlebotomy, Vital Signs, ECG collection) Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.) Ability to work with Electronic Data Collection Systeam Ability to effectively schedulestaff members Good organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills Confident decision-making ability
