Business Analytics Manager

Description

The Business Analytics Manager is a dedicated customer leadership role, working as a business partner in close collaboration with the VP Commercial, Europe, Business Analytics Lead, Country Sales Leaders and US Functional experts. This role takes responsibility for delivery of analytical and reporting services to European pharmaceutical sales management, managing sales development for a new prescription medicine in Europe and Canada. 

Requirements

  • Lead on clearly defining the customer and internal business reporting objectives
  • Prepare detailed operational process workflows which describe input, output, and logical operation
  • Participate in Target segmentation, territory alignment design. Interpret and build customer target segmentation, with responsibility to administer development plans aligned with commercial guidance
  • Act as Business Insights expert to advise stakeholders and act as a strategic advisor to commercial and sales leadership
  • Lead structured report development using standard BI reporting software, designing and implementing workflows which lead to report cycle automation utilising both CRM and country subnational datasets
  • Deliver analytics of in-market data at national and subnational level, sales force effectiveness analytics, reporting monitoring and evaluation of brand forecasting KPI’s, multichannel and omnichannel KPI measurement 
  • Provide direction and perform quality control functions on all deliverables including standard and customised reports

Essential Requirements:

  • Experience in SFE in either consulting or BioPharma / Pharmaceutical sales environments.
  • In-depth knowledge, experience and efficiency in multiple reporting tools, data sets including Excel, PowerPoint, BI Solutions, warehousing databases and CRM systems e.g., Veeva, Salesforce.com
  • Quantitative analysis skills utilising IQVIA, GERS national and sub national data, leveraging the data to produce business ready insights on field and brand performance. Experience with sub national sales datasets in Europe and Canada
  • Experience in Project managing to tight deadlines, leading workstreams and managing project deliverables from contributors, taking a lead as necessary to structure, build and interpret sales and field performance dashboards
  • Strong customer relationship management skills and interpersonal skills that enable interaction across a range of stakeholders 
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills with an attention to detail

Desired Requirements:

  • Fluent in additional European languages
  • Experience in SQL programming to facilitate report process automation
