Fertility Support Study: How Frame™ Platform Helps Patients Stay in Treatment and Improve Emotional Well-Being
This important clinical trial explores how the Frame™ digital platform can support individuals undergoing fertility treatments by improving emotional health and helping them stay engaged in their care. The study specifically examines whether access to Frame’s resources reduces stress, depression, and treatment dropout rates among fertility patients.
Study Details: The research involves 400 participants who have recently consulted at fertility clinics. All participants will complete psychological questionnaires at the beginning and end of the 6-month study period. These questionnaires measure stress (using PSS-10), depression (PHQ-8), and fertility-specific stress (COMPI-FPSS). Half of the participants will receive access to the Frame platform, while the other half will continue with standard care.
Frame Platform Benefits: The intervention group gains access to Frame’s unique resources including:
- Direct contact with board-certified fertility coaches
- Educational materials about fertility treatments
- Emotional support tools
- Personalized care team assistance
Why This Matters: Fertility treatments can be emotionally challenging, with many patients experiencing high stress levels that may cause them to abandon treatment. This study could demonstrate how digital support platforms like Frame might:
- Help patients initiate and continue fertility treatments
- Reduce feelings of isolation and overwhelm
- Improve mental health during treatment
- Potentially lead to better treatment outcomes
Eligibility Information: Participants must be new patients at participating clinics, English-speaking, and have smartphone/internet access. The study excludes those already working with fertility coaches or participating in other clinical trials.
Broader Implications: This research addresses critical gaps in fertility care by examining practical solutions to improve patient experience and retention. If successful, it could establish new standards for emotional support in reproductive medicine. The study also contributes valuable data about the psychological aspects of fertility treatment and how digital interventions might alleviate common challenges.
Fertility journeys often involve complex emotional and medical challenges. Studies like this are essential for developing comprehensive care approaches that address both the physical and mental health needs of patients. As fertility treatments become more common, understanding how to support patients throughout the process becomes increasingly important for improving outcomes and quality of life.
