Experimental: PROCRIT (epoetin alfa)
Participants will receive PROCRIT (epoetin alfa).

Participants will receive epoetin alfa 300 IU/kg once daily subcutaneously for 10 days prior to surgery, on the day of surgery, and for four days after surgery.
