Inclusion Criteria:
- age ≥18 years
- unilateral primary reducible inguinal hernia
- elective operation
- consent to participate in the study.
Exclusion Criteria:
- age <18 years
- irreducible
- strangulated
- recurrent hernia
- inability to understand the questionnaire
- unwillingness to participate in the study
