Inclusion Criteria:
- LDL-cholesterolemia between 130 and 190 mg/dL
Exclusion Criteria:
- Type 2 diabetes
- Previous cardiovascular disease
- Assumption of lipid-lowering drugs or dietary supplements
- Previous intolerance to red yeast rice
