Inclusion Criteria
1. Persons with confirmed early symptomatic syphilis (primary or secondary) or high-titer latent syphilis
Exclusion Criteria:
- Pregnant woman
- Known allergy to penicillin
- RPR titers were found to be 1:8 or less
