Inclusion Criteria:
- aged 65 or older
- patients undergoing elective orthopaedic surgery
- ASA I-III
Exclusion Criteria:
- history of craniocerebral trauma surgery or severe central nervous system disease
- inability to read or understand the informed consent documents
- too physically or psychologically ill
