Inclusion Criteria:
- Ischemic or hemorrhagic stroke (onset < 24 months), or
- Spinal cord injury (onset < 24 months)
Exclusion Criteria:
- Raised intracranial pressure
- Malignant cancer
- Renal failure
- Severe pulmonary dysfunction
