Inclusion Criteria:
- Patients with active ulcerative colitis
Exclusion Criteria:
- the presence of acute or chronic renal failure, chronic heart disease, pulmonary infection, liver cirrhosis, colorectal cancer, autoimmune disease, and infectious disease
