Prevalence of Musculoskeletal Disorders Among Musicians (nill)
Assessment of the Prevalence of Playing-related Musculoskeletal Disorders Among Instrumental Musicians
Research conducted at the Faculty of Physiotherapy, Academy of Physical Education in Katowice, examines musculoskeletal disorders among instrumental musicians.
The study protocol was approved by the Ethics Committee of Polish Physiotherapy Associationon (Resolution No. 05/06/2025) on June 11, 2025.
The application form includes QuickDASH software enabling the functioning of the system and the MPIIQM-P system, which monitors the functioning of the musculoskeletal system and its impact on everyday musical performance.

Detailed Description
Participants are recruited via email and through Facebook groups and other social media platforms dedicated to musicians. If a participant agrees to participate in the study but is unable to complete the online survey, , a paper version will be made available.
Participants are asked to complete a voluntary survey consisting of three parts: 1/ metric data (age, gender, education, place of residence), 2/ questions about their instrument playing (type, instrument, duration and intensity of playing, etc.), and 3/ questions about musculoskeletal complaints using the QuickDASH (Upper Limb Disability Questionnaire) and the MPIIQM (Musculoskeletal Pain Intensity and Interference Questionnaire for Musicians).
