We are excited to announce a new field-based career opportunity for a Senior Director, Data Sales and Solutions Strategic Accounts! This role is critical in identifying and shaping opportunities for our continued growth within our US territories. As Senior Director,you will be responsible for selling Real-World Data (RWD) solutions that enable clinical trials through optimizing protocol design, patient recruitment, and other solutions/services developed.Position Summary
The Senior Director Data Sales and Solutions is an individual contributor role that will primarily have responsibility for selling Real-World Data (RWD) solutions that enable clinical trials through optimizing protocol design, patient recruitment and other solutions/services developed. They will have responsibility for selling de-identified RWD through our Marketplace Partnerships and RWD Insights developed using analytical techniques by Labcorp or with partners. They are responsible for exceeding revenue goals by acquiring new business and growing existing business within their designated territories and named accounts..
Candidates given best consideration will have the following qualifications:
Minimum of 10 years relevant experience; Biopharma, Biotech, Clinical trials, CRO, life sciences
Strong Real World Data (RWD) and outcomes research knowledge and sales experience strongly preferred
Comfortable discussing Real-world data, clinical trial and research concepts with Biopharma customers and physician stakeholders
Clinical site management, pharmaceutical marketing and sales experience ideal
Working knowledge of analytics and modeling
Strategic thinker with ability to identify client needs
Resourceful networking skills
Ability to work independently and be self-motivated
Demonstrated matrix management skills; ability to work with cross-functional teams
Demonstrated ability to lead
Experience managing people
Executive presence and solid presentation and communication capabilities
Strong brand promotion knowledge
Essential responsibilities include:
Financial Goal Attainment
Achieving account portfolio financial goals
Achieving account portfolio relationship building goals
Growing market share of existing service lines
Optimizing new service line launch
Client Management
Skilled at identifying appropriate executive targets and key decision makers and building relationships across the enterprise within Pharma/Life Sciences accounts
Maintains frequent personal contact with clients.
Participate in bid defense and/or capabilities meetings
Leads client presentations
Sales Process
Sells the business unit’s capabilities and differentiation frameworks.
Liaises with Scientific Leadership and Marketing to target scientific input that adds value to account strategy and deepens Labcorp’s scientific perception within accounts.
Collaborate with RWD Products team and participate in RWD Products operational meetings to develop concepts, strategies and define services
Strong understanding of strengths and limitations of different real-world data sources and ability to apply this in solution recommendations that effectively address customer challenges
Creates and manages robust and strategic account plans including actionable account strategies
Accountable for communicating account plans, modification and account activity through Salesforce.com.
Uses SFDC to manage internal communication and document territory and client information as required.
Provides comprehensive intelligence on key competitors
Participates in proposal scope development as appropriate.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in the life sciences is preferred.

Work Location: Remote. Travel required within the designated US territories is 50%-70%.
Compensation: $145,000 - $210,000 annual base salary. This position offers a sales incentive plan. Automobile or automobile allowance offered based on market.
