貧しい個人中心の妊産婦医療 (PCMHC) は、サハラ以南アフリカ (SSA) における高い妊産婦死亡率と新生児死亡率の一因となっており、PCMHC における格差が母子保健サービスの利用格差を引き起こしています。
しかし、PCMHC を改善し、格差を縮小する方法に関する研究はほとんどありません。
研究者らはこのプロジェクトでこのギャップを埋めようとしている。
彼らは、貧弱なPCMHCとPCMHCの格差の両方を引き起こす根本的な要因として、医療提供者のストレスと無意識の偏見をターゲットにすることを提案しています。
