病院から退院する前に、研究の内容と目的を説明する紹介状で、研究への関心について患者にアプローチします。
インフォームド コンセントに続いて、患者は無作為に消費者健康情報アプリ (UControlPain) を受信するか、データ収集機能のみ (教育コンポーネントなし) のアプリを提供されます。
無作為化は、研究コーディネーターによってREDCapを介して実装されます。
さらに、インストールされたアプリの種類に関する情報は、プロバイダーや患者と共有されません。
