배경: 40년 동안 짧은 접촉 개입(BCI)은 자살 예방에 유망한 접근 방식으로 제시되었지만 BCI에 대한 환자의 경험은 덜 조사되었습니다.

기본 면담은 평일에 정신의학 전공의 레지던트가 유일한 면담자로 평균 10~15분 동안 전화로 진행되었습니다.
면접관은 환자의 의료나 후속 개입에 참여하지 않았습니다.
면접관은 이전에 전화 인터뷰를 통해 환자 파일을 보지 않았으며 연구 대상에 대한 행정 정보만 가지고 있었습니다. 이름과 성, 나이, 성별, 전화번호.
전화 인터뷰는 개입으로 간주되지 않았습니다.
면접관이 환자에게 보다 집중적인 치료가 필요하다고 판단할 때마다 관련 도움을 요청했습니다.
