- CF와 일치하는 두 가지 임상 특징; 그리고
- CF와 일치하는 두 개의 확인 가능한 돌연변이가 있는 유전자형, 또는
- 땀 염화물 > 정량적 필로카르핀 이온영동에 의한 리터당 밀리당량(mEq/L).
- 급성 상기도 또는 하기도 감염의 증거 없이 임상적으로 안정적임
- 스크리닝 시 측정된 그램당 100마이크로그램(㎍/g) 미만의 분변 엘라스타제에 의해 결정된 외분비 췌장 기능부전(PI)

- 섬유화 결장병의 병력
- 간 이식, 폐 이식 또는 장의 중요한 수술 절제 병력
