어유는 허혈성 심장 질환, 류마티스 관절염 및 염증성 장 질환과 같은 광범위한 임상 분야에서 많은 입증된 이점을 가지고 있습니다.
최근 연구에서는 입원 기간 감소, 재수술률 감소 및 정맥 항생제 요구 감소와 같은 수술 환자에 대한 정맥 주사 어유의 유익한 효과를 설명했습니다. 이는 부분적으로 어유의 항염증 효과 때문입니다.
어유가 암에도 효과적이라는 증거가 있으며, 대규모 인구 연구에서는 오메가-3가 풍부한 식단이 암 발병률을 낮추는 것과 관련이 있으며 시험관 및 동물 연구에서 어유의 항종양 효과를 입증했습니다.
- 어유는 다른 인간 암 세포주의 성장을 억제합니다

이 연구는 파일럿 연구에서 간 결장직장 전이에 대한 오메가-3 FA의 효과를 평가하는 것을 목표로 합니다. 잠재적으로 절제 가능한 간 결장직장 선암종 전이가 있는 20명의 환자가 파일럿 연구를 위해 선택될 것입니다. 10명의 환자는 어유(대조군) 없이 총 비경구 영양(TPN)을 받고, 10명은 TPN에 지질 에멀젼이 포함된 어유를 받습니다.
종양 혈관신생의 변화(증가된 혈관신생은 간 결장직장 전이에서 더 나쁜 예후와 관련됨)는 디지털 조영 증강 MRI 스캐닝을 사용하여 조사될 것이며, 혈관신생의 마커는 환자의 혈액 및 절제된 종양 샘플에서 조사될 것입니다.

제외 기준:
- 이미 어유 보충제를 복용하고 있는 환자
- 생선, 계란 또는 대두 단백질 또는 지질 에멀젼의 활성 물질 또는 성분에 대한 과민증
- 고지혈증
- 심한 혈액 응고 장애
- 중증 신부전(크레아티닌 >200)
- 주입 요법에 대한 일반적인 금기 사항 - 폐부종, 과수화, 비대상성 심부전
- 모든 불안정한 의학적 상태 - 조절되지 않는 당뇨병, 급성 심근 경색, 뇌졸중, 색전성 질환, 대사성 산증, 패혈증, 췌장염
- 기존의 신 보조 화학 요법을 받는 환자.
