이 연구의 목표는 앉아 있는 행동보다 임신 중 활동이 분명한 이점을 보여주는 증가하는 데이터에 기여하는 것입니다. 독특하게도, 이 연구는 목표 임신 체중 증가를 달성하기 위한 최적의 걸음 수를 결정하려고 합니다. 그렇게 함으로써 임상의는 산모와 태아의 결과를 개선하는 데 도움이 될 수 있는 가정 활동에서 저렴한 비용으로 환자에게 더 나은 조언을 제공할 수 있습니다. 이 최적의 걸음 수는 이 목표 걸음 수가 임신성 당뇨병, 자간전증, 조산, 제왕절개율 및 출생 체중과 같은 다른 산모 및 태아 결과에 도움이 되는 데 사용될 수 있는지 여부를 결정하기 위해 향후 무작위 임상 시험에서 사용됩니다.
참여는 환자의 18-22주 클리닉 방문 시 시작되며 분만까지 지속됩니다. 18-22주 클리닉 방문 시 만보계가 환자에게 제공됩니다. 환자는 4주마다 7일 동안 엉덩이에 만보계를 착용하도록 연구팀 구성원으로부터 지시를 받고 7일 동안 하루에 한 번 이메일로 도착하는 온라인 제출 양식 링크를 통해 그날의 일일 걸음 수를 제출합니다. 연속 일. 환자가 일일 걸음 수 보고를 준비할 수 있도록 4주마다 이메일 알림이 수신되며, 14일 후에 온라인 제출 양식을 통해 전자적으로 응답이 없으면 두 번째 알림이 수신됩니다. 정상적인 활동에 변화가 필요하지 않으며 주중에 정상적인 활동을 유지하기 위한 지침이 제공됩니다. 만보계는 환자가 분만실에 도착하여 분만할 때 반환됩니다.
