상세 설명
구체적인 연구 목표는 다음과 같습니다.
3단계 프로세스를 통해 지역 사회에 배포할 약물 검사 기술을 준비합니다.
- 볼티모어 경찰 범죄 연구실(N=335)과 SPARC 아웃리치 세션(N=100)에서 얻은 Bruker Alpha의 불법 물질 테스트 샘플을 통해 약물 검사 기술을 보정합니다.
- 볼티모어에 기반을 둔 피해 감소 조직을 통한 파트너십을 통해 얻은 샘플을 테스트하고 결과를 골드 표준(실험실 테스트)과 비교하여 공중 보건과 관련된 불법 물질을 탐지하는 데 있어 민감도와 특이도를 측정하여 약물 확인 기술을 검증합니다.
- 약물을 사용하는 사람들(PWUD)(N=20) 사이에서 연구 Bruker Alpha Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy(FT-IR) 약물 검사 기계를 시험합니다.
- PrEP 관리 연속체에서 PWUD 참여를 늘리고 과다 복용의 부담을 줄이는 것을 목표로 하는 커뮤니티 수준의 모바일 통합 약물 검사 및 PrEP 중재를 개발합니다.

볼티모어에 거주하는 PWUD 집단(N=500).
우리는 볼티모어 전역의 5개 모집 구역(n=125/구역)에서 6개월마다(18개월 동안) 참가자를 후속 조치할 것입니다.
4개의 모집 구역은 개입 장소와 겹칩니다.
참가자는 총 4번의 연구 방문(기준선, 6개월, 12개월, 18개월)을 받게 됩니다.

조사관은 내부적으로 개발된 설문지를 사용하여 참가자의 자가 보고를 평가하여 현재 PrEP 상태를 측정합니다.
현재 PrEP 상태의 변화는 참가자에게 1) 현재 PrEP 형태(알약 형태 또는 주사제)를 처방받았는지 여부, 2) 현재 처방약을 복용하고 있는지 여부, 3) 어떤 유형/브랜드인지를 묻는 세 가지 설문 항목을 사용하여 측정됩니다. 그들은 현재 PrEP를 복용하고 있습니다.

후속 조치 시 PrEP 상태(흡수)의 변화는 현재 처방에 대한 응답 범위 옵션이 있는 세 가지 항목을 사용하여 측정되며 현재 PrEP를 복용하는 것은 처방된 PrEP 유형에 대한 이분법(예/아니오) 및 명목상(선택)입니다.
참가자가 후속 조치에서 현재 PrEP 사용을 자체 보고하는 경우 조사관은 건조 혈액 반점(DBS) 샘플링을 사용하여 PrEP의 생물학적 존재를 확인합니다.
