How will you make an impact? 

As Product Manager, you will help drive product/platform priorities and execution for the Generative AI Center of Excellence. The Product Manager will be responsible for connecting business opportunities to existing capabilities, driving strategy, and prioritization. 

This position is responsible for developing and maintaining high standards by establishing best-in-class product management methodologies, standards, and tools. By leading and collaborating with cross-functional teams and leaders to define and deliver commitments: demonstrating implementation of technologies, systems, process improvements, PPI, and agile methods with leadership for the agreed upon prioritized roadmap within agreed scope, schedule, and budget, while leading execution, risks, trade-offs, expectations, and communications. 

What will you do? 

·Implement day-to-day IT product management, helping to drive product achievements, and targets, and ensure commitments are met through active resource, scope, issue, and risk management. 

·Help manage product roadmaps in alignment with business priorities including scope, quality, schedule, cost, and contracts. 

·Address product issues by identifying effective courses of action, considering constraints and objectives, and enabling continued progress. 

·Help communicate product roadmaps, capabilities, and timelines to customers. Gather status and data through the population of information systems, maintaining accurate and current product information for customers' use. 

·Provide necessary tools and techniques for the team's successful objective achievement while fostering effective delegation to achieve results. 

·Perform follow-up tasks on projects, systems, and related activities, facilitating partnerships by defining roles, assessing skills, providing mentorship, and managing conflicting priorities. 

·Active participation with a team of like-minded Product Managers and Product Owners. 

·Ensure compliance with company’s Global IT Policies & Procedures, collaborating closely with IT shared service partners for alignment. 

·Experience in Gen AI is preferred. 

·Perform other duties as assigned. 

Education: 

·Bachelor's degree in Computer Sciences, Life Sciences, Business, or equivalent; 

·MBA preferred

Experience: 

·5+ years of product management experience with a proven track record of roadmap delivery. 

·In-depth understanding of multi-platform, multi-technology environments. 

·Experience leading project teams with multi-functional, multi-business, or global team members. 

·Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP or GxP) and Computer Systems Validation (CSV). 

·Strong product/project/product management skills within a matrixed environment, PMP certification a plus, along with effective conflict resolution and issue resolution capabilities. 

·Experience working within agile methodologies (SaFe preferred). 

·Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills, able to operate in a matrixed environment. 

·Willingness to travel as required (20%).

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range estimated for this position based in California is $113,500.00–$152,000.00.

This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy. We offer a comprehensive Total Rewards package that our U.S. colleagues and their families can count on, which includes:
