Job title: FP&A Financial Analyst III- Hybrid

Location: Costa Rica

Reporting to:  GBS Finance Sr Manager

Job Summary:The FP&A Financial Analyst III plays a crucial role in providing financial business partnering support to our Global Business Services (GBS) leaders. As a member of a global collaborative team, the analyst is accountable for various key responsibilities and tasks.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and coordinate the monthly KPI Reviews for GBS leadership, ensuring accurate and timely reporting of operating results, key performance indicators and project updates.
  • Serve as the owner of GBS project spend and benefit tracking, as well as the project database, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information for effective decision-making.
  • Lead the monthly close, forecasting, and Annual Operating Plan process for GBS projects, ensuring accuracy and adherence to timelines.
  • Perform entries to distribute project related allocations to divisions, including developing the allocation methodology.
  • Provide decision support analysis to the project team through routine financial updates and as needed ad-hoc analysis of investments and benefits of implementation projects.
  • Conduct business case analysis for cross-functional projects to evaluate project feasibility, enabling effective resource allocation and investment decisions.
  • Lead the GBS CapEx reporting and forecasting process.
  • Support the functional standardization and continuous improvement of existing processes within the organization, promoting efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Take high level direction and work independently to drive execution of department goals.
  • Other ad hoc projects as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business, or other relevant background
  • 5 years of Financial Management experience
  • Proficiency in the following areas: financial analysis and reporting, forecasting, internal controls, and technical accounting knowledge.
  • Strong business acumen as well as the ability to make logical assumptions, identify trends, incorporate external and internal information, and effectively benchmark results against appropriate baselines.
  • The ability to identify and champion productivity improvements.
  • Strong written communication skills, along with clear and concise verbal skills. The ideal candidate will have the ability to obtain operational buy-in with easy-to-understand analysis and presentations with the ability to engage in communication at the executive level.
  • Proven history of working cross functionally as well as the ability to build organizational relationships with customers, peers and operating partners.
  • It is required that the candidate can manage multiple assignments, has independence of judgment, and prioritizes projects and time effectively.
  • The ideal candidate will have a commitment to continuous learning, show career progression and development, and seek opportunities to stretch capabilities.
  • Excellent skills with MS Excel and MS PowerPoint are required.
  • Excellent English proficiency

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced Qualification (CPA, MBA, or MS)
  • Skills with Oracle, HFM, SAP, COGNOS and Power BI.
  • Continuous improvement experience
