Beskrivelse

Inklusjonskriterier:

  • Personer med IPF i alderen ≥ 40 år på tidspunktet for undertegning av det informerte samtykket
  • Diagnose av IPF innen 7 år før screening som støttes av sentralt avlest bryst-høyoppløselig computertomografi (HRCT) oppnådd ved screening og verifisering av vanlig interstitiell pneumoni.
  • Ved bruk av pirfenidon eller nintedanib, må deltakerne ha vært på en stabil dose i minst 90 dager før screening
  • Hvis de ikke bruker pirfenidon eller nintedanib, må deltakerne ikke ha mottatt noen av disse medisinene innen 28 dager før screening.
  • Kvinner som er i fertil alder må ha en svært effektiv prevensjonsform og må gi negativ urin/serumgraviditetstest
  • Menn som er seksuelt aktive med kvinner i fertil alder godtar å bruke prevensjon for mannlig barriere

Ekskluderingskriterier:

  • Anamnese med slag eller forbigående iskemisk angrep innen 3 måneder før screening
  • Betydelig hjertesykdom innen 6 måneder før screening etter etterforskerens skjønn
  • Deltakere som har en nåværende malignitet eller en tidligere malignitet de siste 5 årene før screening, bortsett fra de som har dokumentert kurert ikke-metastatisk plateepitelhudkarsinom, basalcellehudkarsinom eller cervical carcinoma in situ.
