Beskrivning
Inklusionskriterier:
Friska volontärer:
-Ålder 20-80
PAD-patienter:
- Mild claudicatio till vilosmärta (Rutherford 1-4)
- ABI i vila eller träning < 0,9 eller TBI < 0,6
- Ålder 40 och mer
OA-patienter:
- Nedre extremitet (höft eller knä) OA
Exklusions kriterier:
PAD, OA-patienter och friska frivilliga:
- Planera att genomgå kirurgiskt ingrepp eller PVI för behandling av PAD inom en månad
- Bevis på aktiv infektion
- Överkänslighet eller allergi mot fisk eller skaldjur
- Redan på n-3 PUFA eller motsvarande
- Kronisk leversjukdom, njursjukdom i slutstadiet (CKD 5) eller kroniska inflammatoriska sjukdomar
- Dåligt kontrollerad diabetes (HbA1C > 8%)
- BMI <20 eller >35
- Nylig annan större operation eller sjukdom inom 30 dagar
- Användning av immunsuppressiva läkemedel eller steroider
- Historia om organtransplantation
- Graviditet, eller planerar att bli gravid, eller ammande
Friska volontärer:
- hsCRP > 2mg/L
- Regelbunden användning av aspirin
- Regelbunden användning av icke-steroida antiinflammatoriska läkemedel

Fas 1a Dosfinnande oral SPM administrering av ökande dos (15 ml, 30 ml och 60 ml) enligt följande schema: Dag 1 till 5: 15 ml; Dag 6 till 14: Washout, ingen SPM-administration; Dag 15 till 19: 30 ml; Dag 20-28: Washout, ingen SPM-administration; Dag 29-33: 60 ml
