OMEGA-SPM-DOSE 試験と OMEGA-SPM-PAD 試験は、高度に濃縮された n-3 PUFA 代謝物 (SPM エマルジョン) を含む栄養補助食品の新規製剤の効果を調査することを目的としたパイロット研究の 2 つの部分です。健康なボランティアと末梢動脈疾患 (PAD) 患者のメタボロ リピドミクス プロファイル。
10 人の健康なボランティアと 10 人の PAD 患者が、パート 1a の「OMEGA-SPM-DOSE 研究」に参加します。
その後、第 1a 相で決定された最適な投与法に関するプラセボ対照の前向き研究を、PAD および OA 集団(n=12)を対象に第 1b 相、「OMEGA-SPM-PAD 研究」として実施します。

PAD 患者:
- 安静時の軽度の跛行 (ラザフォード 1-4)
- 安静または運動 ABI < 0.9 または TBI < 0.6
- 40歳以上
OA 患者:
-下肢(股関節または膝)OA
除外基準:
PAD、OA 患者および健康なボランティア:
- 1ヶ月以内にPAD治療のための外科手術またはPVIを受ける予定
- 活動性感染の証拠
- 魚介類に対する過敏症またはアレルギー
- すでにn-3 PUFAまたは同等のものを使用している
- 慢性肝疾患、末期腎疾患 (CKD 5)、または慢性炎症性疾患
- コントロール不良の糖尿病 (HbA1C > 8%)
- BMI < 20 または >35
- 30日以内の最近の他の主要な手術または病気
- 免疫抑制剤またはステロイドの使用
- 臓器移植の歴史
- 妊娠中、または妊娠の予定がある、または授乳中
