Description
Inclusion Criteria:
- Must be term pregnancy (> 37 weeks)
- Vertex presentation
- Active labor (4-5 centimeters dilated)
Exclusion Criteria:
- Heart disease
- Diabetes
- Currently taking propranolol
- Contraindications to labor or vaginal delivery
- Multiple gestations
- Preterm
- Chorioamnionitis
