Description
Inclusion Criteria:
- biopsy-proven NAFLD, determined within 12 months of study initiation
Exclusion Criteria:
- > 20 grams of alcohol/day
- impaired oral glucose tolerance test
- known diagnosis of diabetes mellitus
- hepatitis C infection
- cirrhosis
