Inclusion Criteria:
- planned knee arthroscopy with soft tissue intervention
- age 18+
- English speaking
Exclusion Criteria:
- contraindications to nerve block: eg neuropathy, type 1 diabetes, coagulopathy
- knee arthroscopy with planned bony intervention
