Description
Inclusion Criteria:
- patients receiving home parenteral nutrition (HPN) because of short bowel syndrome for at least 12 months
- stable metabolic status
- benign disease
Exclusion Criteria:
- HPN < 12 months
- metabolically unstable
- cancer as the reason for intestinal failure
