Sikkerheds- og immunogenicitetsundersøgelse af GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) Biologicals' 10-valente pneumokokkonjugatvaccine.

At vurdere sikkerhed, reaktogenicitet og immunogenicitet af GSK Biologicals' 10-valente pneumokokkonjugatvaccine, når det administreres sammen med DTPa-kombinerede vacciner og MenC- eller Hib-MenC-vacciner i løbet af de første 6 måneders alder.
Tredosis primærvaccination af raske spædbørn mellem 6 og 16 uger på tidspunktet for den første vaccination mod Streptococcus pneumonia, Neisseria meningitidis og Haemophilus influenzae type b.

Inklusionskriterier:
- mand eller kvinde mellem og inklusive 6-16 uger (42 til 118 dage) på tidspunktet for den første vaccination, fri for åbenlyse helbredsproblemer og med skriftligt informeret samtykke indhentet fra forsøgspersonens forælder/værge.
Ekskluderingskriterier:
- brug af ethvert forsøgslægemiddel eller ikke-registreret lægemiddel eller vaccine, bortset fra undersøgelsesvaccinen, inden for 30 dage forud for den første dosis af undersøgelsesvaccinen eller planlagt brug i hele undersøgelsesperioden.
- Planlagt administration/administration af en vaccine, der ikke er forudset af undersøgelsesprotokollen i perioden, der starter en måned før hver dosis af vaccine(r) og slutter 7 dage efter dosis 1 og dosis 2 eller 1 måned efter dosis 3.
- Tidligere vaccinationer mod sygdomme, som er målrettet af de vacciner, der er brugt i undersøgelsen.
